The Miami Experience
South Beach. Interesting place. Probably won’t be going back there ever again though. Not really my scene. It was like the Jersey Shore & Las Vegas had an illegitimate love child and they named her South Beach.Too much muscles, fake tan, and poor clothing (or lack thereof) choices. The place was packed & the fist pumping music was non stop.
I made the poor decision to spend 2 of our 3 nights in the heart of South Beach at the Beacon on Ocean Dr. #facepalm. One night would of been sufficient. Outside of being right on the main strip, the place was a dump.
But not all was loss. Miami had plenty to offer. From great food to amazing shopping, I was quite impressed. Food wise you if you’re ever down there you must check out Joe’s Stone Crab, Puerto Sagua, and Ceviche 105. All amazing in their own unique ways.
Shopping: Seriously didn’t think they would have much of anything. Boy was I surprised. The Webster, Bal Harbour, Sawgrass Mills Outlets. Let’s just say that my bank account is hurting a lot…
But Miami wasn’t just food & shopping. Plenty of charm, excellent weather, and of course the beaches.
Oh yeah, the most important part. Buddy & Erin’s wedding. Beautiful ceremony, fantastic cocktail hour (i love jewish weddings) , great people and amazing times all around. Couldn’t be happier for those two.
That’s it that’s all. Truth be told, I had a far longer report on my trip all typed out but hit a stupid bookmark on the browser and lost it all..fuck Firefox.
